PASSING OF PATRICK DOUGLAS ‘PETER’ LASHLEY

 

One of Barbados outstanding cricketers Patrick Douglas ‘Peter’ Lashley died earlier today at the age of 86.  As a left-handed batsman, Lashley represented the West Indies in 4 Test matches and was part of that famous squad that toured Australia in 1960.

He made his First-class debut in 1957, scoring 4932 runs (averaged 41.44) with 8 centuries and played 85 matches in a career that spanned 17 years.

The Board of Directors and staff of the BCA wish to extend our sincere condolences to his family members at this time.
