Many of you may would have purchased tickets to one (or more) of the England vs West Indies matches via our new “Windies Tickets” ticketing service, presented by Mastercard. For those of you that haven’t, the Banks Party Stand in Barbados goes on sale today, details below. We look forward to welcoming you to this historic match-up between the two teams here in the sunny Caribbean! If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, be sure to grab yours before they’re sold out!

But before we continue, here’s what you’ll find to expect in this week’s WI Insider:

The action continues at Sabina Park, Jamaica with updated fixtures for the CG Insurance ODI series! Due to five COVID-19 positive cases and injuries in the Ireland camp, the 2nd CG Insurance ODI, which was originally was scheduled for Tuesday, 11 January, was postponed.

After some fantastic work by the medical  staff of both teams, thankfully both the 2nd and 3rd CG Insurance ODIs will be played on new dates this week while unfortunately the one-off CG Insurance T20 International has been cancelled to allow for this revised schedule and to avoid impact on the teams’ travel plans and subsequent fixtures.

You’ll be able to watch all the thrills and spills from our superb beach-style environment featuring bleachers, jet skis, deckchairs and rum barrels. The West Indies vibes will come to life with DJs, dancers, an entertainment stage, fully stocked bars and a food court with the great aromas of Caribbean food, whilst water misters are also available to cool you down when the action gets too hot. Party Stand experts Power by Four will ensure you’ll have a memorable time.

Tickets go on sale TODAY!, and before you buy your tickets, please check out all the COVID-19 protocols for Kensington Oval, which you’ll need to follow to be allowed entry into the stadium.
You’ll need to be both fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have your vaccination documentation with you and have a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the match start time at one of the Barbados government’s approved testing locations to be able to enter the venue.  Please note that no exceptions will be made.

For the Betway T20Is (Jan 22 – 30)

  • Tickets available at $100 USD/ $200 BBD per match
  • Your purchase includes entry, all party stand entertainment, five soft or alcoholic drinks of your chance and a meal voucher.

For the 2nd Test match (March 16 – 20)

  • Tickets available $100 USD/ $200 BBD per match day, or a 5-Day Season ticket at a discounted rate of $400 US/ $800 BBD.
  • Your purchase includes entry, all party stand entertainment, five soft or alcoholic drinks of your choice and three meal vouchers  with one for breakfast, one for a full lunch, and a third for a hot dog or burger.

If you wish to purchase tickets with a credit or debit card, you will need to purchase in advance, at www.Tickets.Windiestickets.com, which will mean you also avoid the queues for the box office and can save the tickets on to your device or print to bring with you. The stadium Box office* will be accepting cash payments only.
Tickets will also go on sale through the box office at Kensington Oval in the week before the first T20I. Dates and times to be confirmed.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR BETWAY WI v ENGLAND T20I SERIES, JANUARY 22-30, AT KENSINGTON OVAL BARBADOS

Fully Vaccinated Fans Only

  • Full Covid-19 vaccination is required to attend all matches, having received your final dose at least 14 days prior to match day. Proof of vaccination will be required for entry into the stadium. Entry will not be permitted if you fail to provide this documentation and you will not be eligible for a refund. 
  • Face masks must be worn at Kensington Oval except when eating and drinking, and will be required for the other Test match venues. 
  • Social distancing protocols will be in effect and enforced in the stands. Stewards and marshalls will work with fans to ensure there is distancing between groups of fans in the close proximity of your purchased seats. Family groups and groups of friends who have travelled together will be able to sit together.
  • Party stand ticket holders must also present a negative Rapid Antigen Test taken at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the match. Details testing locations close the venue will be emailed to Party Stand e-ticket holders in advance of the the 48 hour window.
