Jordan stars with bat and ball as Wildey crush BCA Youth ‘A’ in Round 1 of BCA T20 Cup

Bridgetown, Barbados, April 15 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – Akeem Jordan slammed a brisk, unbeaten half-century and grabbed the only five-wicket haul as Wildey defeated SigniaGlobe Financial Inc. BCA Youth ‘A’ by 76 runs in the opening series of the BCA Elite/Division 1 Twenty20 Cup Championship today.

Playing at the Lodge School ground, Society in Zone ‘B’, Jordan scored 64 not out off 32 balls with seven fours and five sixes at No. 5 in the highest total of the round – 199 for five off 20 overs – after Wildey won the toss.

Nimar Bolden made 40 and Demetrius Richards 35.

Barbados Pride pacer Jordan then returned to wreak havoc with five for 10 off three overs as BCA Youth ‘A’ were bowled out for 123 in 19 overs.

Off-spinner Tariq O’Neale picked up two for 18.
