Jamaica beat Barbados by 18 runs, CWI Under-15, Round 1, Result, Scores

St. John’s, Antigua, April 4 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – Jamaica beat defending champions Barbados by 18 runs in Round 1 of the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Rising Stars Under-15 Championship at Liberta today.

Chasing 166 to win, Barbados dramatically collapsed from 144 for three in the 36th over to 147 all out in 39 overs.

Opener Gadson Bowens top-scored with 66 off 116 balls including nine fours.

Bowens and Justin Parris, who scored 45 off 72 balls with three fours, added 105 in 25 overs for the fourth wicket.
