Four hundreds in rain-hit BCA Super Cup Championship

Bridgetown, Barbados, July 7 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – There were four centuries in a rain-hit Series 5 of the BCA Elite/Division 1 Super Cup Championship today.

The century-makers were the Superb Blend Gladiola pair of Rivaldo Clarke and Rashawn Worrell, Wanderers’ Jason Greene and Jamar Yearwood of Police.

Clarke made 136 not out and left-hander Worrell was unbeaten on 104 as defending champions Gladiola amassed 254 for two off 44 overs against Fusionz Boutique Spartan who lost by 132 runs (DLS method) at Rices.

Clarke and Worrell added 252 in 43.1 overs after the Depeiza cousins, Shamario and Giovonte were dismissed off consecutive balls by left-arm pacer Davien Branker.

Greene slammed 107 in a total of 303 for five off 50 overs against ESA Field Pickwick at Dayrells Road. Wanderers won by 105 runs (DLS method).

And skipper Yearwood hit 103 not out to spur Police to a six-wicket win over St. Catherine at Bayfield. A target of 204 was reached in 32.2 overs.
