Carter hits century in first Barbados Under-17 two-day trial

Bridgetown, Barbados, June 17 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – Zachary Carter hit a century on the opening day of the first Barbados Under-17 two-day trial match at Brereton today.

Batting at No.3, Carter made 152 off 111 balls with 14 fours and nine sixes in a first innings total of 374 by Xaundre Baptiste X1 against Gadson Bowens X1.

Kevion Newton scored 68 and Justin Parris 56.

Newton and Carter put on 164 for the second wicket.

Bowens X1 closed on 34 for four.
