BCA NEWS RELEASE #104/23BCA SHIELD 40 OVER QUARTER-FINAL MATCHES ON OCTOBER 1, 2023 CONFIRMED 

Following the completion of a series of matches in the Round of 16 last weekend, the QuarterFinal matches of the 2023 BCA Shield 40 Over competition are scheduled to be played on Sunday October 1, 2023 as outlined below:

RESULTS FROM THE ROUND OF 16 MATCHES CONTESTED ON SEPTEMBER 24

 

At Orange Hill: No result. No play because of wet conditions.

Empire v Diamondshire.

Empire has advanced to the Quarterfinals by virtue of being the higher-ranking team.

 

At Lower Estate: BRC defeated Roberts Manufacturing Sheffield by 44 runs.

 

BRC 212 all out (36.1 overs) (Adrian Maynard 66, Lamar Fergusson 54, Durwyn Selman 47; Dellon Sitaya 2-19, Shurrod Holligan 2-26, Roderick Holder 2-54).

At Boscobelle: J.C.B Boscobelle triumphed over Maple by nine wickets.

At Eden Lodge: BDF beat Midas Magic Ipswich by three wickets. NB: Match was a 34-over. BDF’s target was reduced to 181 off 29 overs due to rain.
