The Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) has selected a 26 member female training squad who
will eventually represent the Caribbean at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, United
Kingdom from July 22 – August 8, 2022.

The Barbados Senior Women team are the current T20 and 50 over champions of the CWI
Regional Women’s tournament.

The training squad will be exposed to various sessions relating to technical skills, match
scenarios, mental preparation along with strength and conditioning work prior to this historic
event that will be competitive and feature a number of International Women teams at the Games.
Training sessions for the squad will be held at the Rubis Sports Club in St. Michael weekly from
Tuesdays to Thursdays.
