Barbados, Windwards battle to a draw, CWI Boys’ Under-17, Series 1, Day 2, Result

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, August 24 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – Barbados and Windward Islands today battled to a draw in Series 1 of the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Rising Stars Boys’ Under-17 two-day Championship at Gilbert Park.

Starting the day on 27 without loss, Windward Islands were bowled out for 210 in reply to a first innings total of 213.

Captain Kirtsen Murray top-scored with 40 off 68 ballls in 94 minutes at No. 5. He struck four fours and one six.

Off-spinner Xaundre Baptiste took three for 22 off 15 overs and leg-spinner Zishan Motara, three for 57 off 22 overs.

Barbados were 30 for one in their second innings.
