Barbados lose third straight match in CWI Under-15 Championship

North Sound, Antigua, April 8 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – Defending champions Barbados lost their third consecutive match in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Rising Stars Under-15 Championship today.

Barbados were beaten by 17 runs by Trinidad & Tobago at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Chasing 236 to win, Raphael Lovell’s team were bowled out for 218 in 49 overs.

Vice-captain and opener Gadson Bowens hit the top-score of 65 off 56 balls with 10 fours.

Fellow left-hander Lovell made 61 off 93 balls including four boundaries.

Trinidad & Tobago made 235 for eight off 50 overs after winning the toss.

Brendan Boodoo scored 82 off 108 balls with nine fours.
