Barbados finish second in CWI Under-17 Tournament

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, July 27 -( – Barbados finished second to new champions Windward Islands in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Rising Stars Under-17 Boys’ Tournament after rain washed out play in all of the last round matches today.

After switching from the traditional 50-over to a Twenty20 format for the final two rounds today, Barbados beat Jamaica by 13 runs at Inshan Ali Park and were scheduled to oppose Trinidad & Tobago at the National Cricket Centre but not a ball was bowled.

Barbados were champions of the previous two Tournaments in 2018 and 2019.
