McCaskie hits another half-century to spur Barbados to 7-wicket win over T&T

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, March 25 – (www.barbadoscricket.org) – Zachary McCaskie hit his second half-century of the match to spur defending champions Barbados Pride to a seven-wicket win over Trinidad & Tobago Red Force before lunch on the fourth and final day of the fourth round first-class match at Queen’s Park Oval today.

Requiring 118 for victory and starting the day on 52 for two with McCaskie on 29 and nightwatchman Jomel Warrican on nought, Barbados took just under an hour to achieve the target.

Opener McCaskie made an unbeaten 55 off 90 balls with six fours and one six to follow a career-best 92 in the first innings.

Jonathan Drakes scored 27 not out.

Warrican was bowled for 12 by off-spinner Bryan Charles, who took all three wickets for 29 runs off 16 overs.
